It seems that people don’t like interrupting their sunbathing to have to cook or go to a restaurant. Instead, they prefer to order their pizza, burgers or sushi straight to the park.

SIDES Outdoor Delivery Function with Driver App
According to the consumption and media analysis VuMA, around 20 million people in Germany order food once or several times a month from a food delivery service. And because it is so convenient, customers want to have their food delivered to more and more places.
Food, snacks and drinks can be ordered directly outdoors with the software from SIDES. Use of the driver app is needed to activate the outdoor delivery function.
This allows you to offer this special service to your customers and deliver food to selected outdoor locations.
The principle is very simple: the customer can be localised in the web shop. This means that she does not have to enter an address, but that she is visible as a pin on the map and can, if necessary, move her pin to the position where she is at any given moment. The advantage is that you can get deliveries anywhere and everywhere (in the park, etc.).
The driver then looks at the driver app where the exact position is displayed. Localisation works via GPS tracking.
The customer should of course ensure that location is easily accessible for drivers. To make sure the wrong person does not accept the order, special care is needed when orders are placed outdoors to ensure that they are actually delivered to the right person. To be on the safe side, suppliers should therefore ask for names or the order confirmation on the mobile phone for comparison.
